Believe it or Not

Jose Luis Rodriguez, a Spanish photographer, had won RM55000 in the Veolia Environment photographer of the year competition.

His entry of startling close-up image of an apparently wild Iberian wolf vaulting a farmer's fence had impressed the judges.

However, his triumph winning of the year's most prestigious award was facing allegation of faking fact.

He was accused of using a tame and captive model wolf called Ossian who lived at a zoological park near Madrid.

His rival photographers had sent the picture of Ossian who had unique mark of a dark, scar like sign under the right eyes.

Another opinion from wolf expert said the wolf appeared to have been trained to jump the gate because a wild specimen is likely to squeeze between the bars.

So, this matter is still under investigation to justify the genuine of the photograph.

Actually, I felt the same kind of manipulation towards recent reality show that been aired for 10 weeks.

The anti climax was felt during the selections of 2 finalists couples and the announcement of the winner.

The professional jury commented that the second place winner dancing was at par with professionals and the floor was screaming for the couples as winner even though the announcement was made that they lost to the other couple.

I was not affected either one of the couple won, but the point was the first and second seasons of the reality show seemed to have more credibility than the third one.

Well, this is all my opinion and nothing personal. Anyway, congratulations to the winner...
