New proposal in the pipeline...PTPTN or study loans might be abolished soon and only to cater for those who really in need.
Is this the right move???
Earlier I've heard few comments from parents whose kids study in boarding schools that the hostels' fees are based on parents' salaries.
On top of that, they have to pay RM25 for weekends as the food allowance has been cut off. Else, the kids can opt to return to their homes.
Even, the contract lecturers services will not be extended at the public universities.
I wonder what is going on with the current financial developments that force our Government to come up with all sorts of nuisance proposals to curb expenses.
