The Bicentennial Maid

Reading 'Walking robot maid at your service' in the Star today, makes me recall the movie 'Bicentennial Man'.

May be this is the answer to the current maid affairs...

South Korean scientists have developed a walking robot maid which can clean a home, dump clothes in a washing machine and even heat food in microwave.

Known as Mahru-Z, the robot has human features with rotating head, arms, legs and six fingers plus three dimensional vision to recognise chores that are assigned.

However, the mass production for commercial use is still far away.

So, for the time being, we still have to bear with the current maids availability.....
