Metal Jewellery

Sparkling and shinning jewelleries are most attractive and fascinating.

Nice to see and wear but dangerous to health as exposed by investigations in the United States on the jewellery products manufactured in China.

Lead has been barred in children's jewellery due to its toxicity. The Chinese manufacturers have opted more dangerous heavy metal 'cadmium' as substitutions.

The contamination products contain between 84% to 91% of cadmium by weight.

However, cadmium is a known carcinogen which has similar effect as lead which can hinder brain development in youngsters.

Children don't have to swallow an item to be exposed as they can get persistent, low-level doses by regular sucking or biting jewellery with a high cadmium content.

So, for now it is better to eyeing for non metal jewelleries to be on the save side...
