Today, the idiot box proved that it also could cause fatal after a freaky mishap.
A 3 year-old girl,Cindy Yeo, was crushed to death by a bulky 21 inch TV at her home in Johor.
The little girl pleaded to watch a video recording herself in a kindergarten talentime last year.
She might accidentally pulled the wires to the appliance which cause the TV set to crash on her.
Well, parents and care givers, pay extra attention on this tragedy. Even though, it is fated, this is an example of negligence accident which is avoidable.
Child proof your house is the best. Other areas need due consideration is the kitchen as this is the kids favourite spots.
They love to imitate adults and play with sharp and dangerous utensils/appliances.
Blind installation also need to be cautious as the dangling cord might cause strangulation.
