It was a heart-wrenching news to learn that a sister would do anything to save her brother even to the extend jeopardising her own lives.
A 10 year old girl, Teng Wen Yan, rushed back into a burning double-storey shophouse in Jitra to rescue her 7 years old brother.
However, her efforts ended in tragedy when both of them were perished in the 12:30 a.m. fire that razed their family home and five adjoining units.
Hopefully, my kids especially the duo rival siblings learn this lesson of the importance of each family member.
