Several months back, my neighbour informed me that papaya leaf was very effective in preventing dengue fever.

He said it was proven as his friend let his kid who was hospitalised after being suspected of having dengue and the platelet reading shot up immediately.

Papaya leaf extract boosts the production of key signalling molecules called Th1-type cytokines, which help regulate the immune system.
