Blood Preservation

At least this good news bring new hope to us rather than daily mundane news which insult my intelligence be it politics or crimes...

It was reported that The Health Ministry via the National Blood Bank has begun implemented a technology to preserve blood reserves up to 10 years.

The new technique called 'Red Cell Freezing Technology' freeze the mixture of collected blood in glycerol at -80 deg C.

Blood stored using normal techniques could only last between 35 to 42 days.
