The price of the newly introduced RON95 is RM1.80 which is 5 cent higher than its previous price.
RON97 has been upgraded as premium product is selling at RM2.05 compared to RM1.80 before. There is an increment of 15 cents.
The price were decided based on the current automatic pricing mechanism according to Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism Minister.
The price is subject to further revise pending on global prices and approval from Economic Council.
For information, RON95 is adheres to EURO2M specification and has additive to be less polluted. RON92 has been phased out as it usage was only 5% of total petrol sales.
