Flood

Praised to Allah that my family in Kedah are safe and have returned home after a few days spending time in Bertam.

The aftermath was much hassle as anticipated. The water had subsided yesterday but left mud pool about an inch thick on the flooring...plus spoilt furniture and electricity goods...

The water supply had been resumed but at a very slow rate...and later in the evening, rain started to pour back...the obstacles hindered the cleaning activities...

The worse flood ever that hit Alor Setar recently was due to rapid development without proper planning? or was it due to certain misconduct in our behaviours...whatever the reason, the conclusion was still 'human error'...and we ought to learn from the mistakes...

Or learn through history...but I wonder, have we human ever learn anything from history???
